It’s a special privilege to lead a child to Christ. A person who comes to Christ as a child has the blessing of living their whole lives with the joy and peace of knowing Him – as well as influencing hundreds, or perhaps thousands, of others over the course of their lifetime.

The SEEDLINGS online child evangelism program is specifically designed to equip you to share the gospel clearly and simply using language and illustrations that are easily understood by children.

SEEDLINGS is creatively presented in four sessions designed around the theme of farming. 

Each session lasts approximately 15 minutes and includes animation, narration, and lots of interaction throughout the training.

In Session 1 you will learn to understand the difference between your role and God’s role in leading children to saving faith in Jesus Christ.

Session 2 presents some basic principles for building healthy, spiritually nurturing relationships with children.

In Session 3 you will learn to:

• Articulate five essential elements of a clear gospel presentation and,
• Present the gospel using bible passages and language that a child can understand.

In Session 4 you will learn how to:

• Present the child with an invitation to trust Christ,
• Recognize and avoid confusing phrases and terminology in your wording, and
• Follow up with a child, effectively encouraging continued spiritual growth.

Although the principles are the same, this is a completely different approach; featuring a different method for sharing the gospel than the ACT personal evangelism training. Once you have completed ACT* be sure to prepare yourself for sharing Christ with a child should the opportunity arise. This training is especially essential if you work with children in any capacity through church or school.

*Although we recommend completing the ACT training as well, SEEDLINGS is a stand-alone program that you could complete without ACT as a prerequisite.
